ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The Alternative Dispute Resolution Section serves to address all aspects of the practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution. This section's goal is to prepare its members for the law profession of the future in which multiple dispute resolution options will become an integral part of every attorney's practice. The section provides information and technical assistance to its members, legislators, government departments and the general public on all aspects of dispute resolution. This section will study existing methods for the prompt and effective resolution of disputes; adapt current legal procedures to accommodate court-annexed and court-directed dispute resolution processes; strive to activate local bar involvement in dispute resolution, and conduct public and professional education programs.

BUSINESS LAW
The Business Law Section strives to maintain a tradition of excellence in programs and publications for its members. This Section encompasses attorneys who practice in the area of banking, savings and loan, credit union, corporation and commercial law. Section activities include publishing newsletters and a Membership Directory, conducting an Annual Business Law Seminar and distributing a $500 scholarship to a law student at each of Mississippi's Law Schools. ESTATES AND TRUSTS
The Estates and Trusts Section advises its members of judicial and legislative developments, as well as court procedural changes affecting estate and trust planning and administration. This Section prints a newsletter, conducts an Annual CLE Seminar and actively monitors bills introduced in the Mississippi legislature that affect the practice of Section members.

The Family Law Section keeps its members informed of the numerous changes and trends in this field of law. GAMING LAW
The Gaming Law Section includes attorneys representing gaming operators, manufacturers, distributors and other gaming related entities, gaming patrons, vendors and suppliers to the gaming industry, landlords and others. This newly formed Section keeps its members abreast of information regarding the practice of gaming law by publishing newsletters and holding CLE Seminars. This Section also strives to work with the Gaming Commission on relevant statutes and regulations.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Intellectual Property Section's mission is primarily education on a variety of intellectual property areas, including trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights, patents, service marks, computer law, and other related issues. The Section is committed to keeping its members fully informed of the latest developments in this ever-expanding field and to provide opportunities to exchange ideas, approaches and experiences relating to intellectual property law. The Intellectual Property Section will aid its members in keeping pace with the accelerating developments in the many fields closely associated with patents, trademarks and copyrights and provide a forum for the discussion of questions of vital interest to all lawyers concerned with intellectual property rights.

LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT LAW
The Labor and Employment Law Section consists of attorneys who represent employers, employees and labor organizations in employment, labor and civil rights disputes. Almost 100 members gather annually for one day of continuing legal education, and many attend the annual Multi-State Labor and Employment Law Seminar which the Section co-sponsors.

LITIGATION
The Litigation and General Practice Section is involved in a wide range of activities of interest to the civil litigator, the general practitioner and to the bench. PROSECUTORS
The Prosecutors Section was formed to assemble a framework within the Bar for prosecutors to exchange information related to the practice of criminal law.
