The Arkansas Bar Association is a not for profit voluntary professional association of over 4,900 Arkansas lawyers which was founded in 1898. Its purposes include improving the administration of justice, assisting the judiciary, providing continuing legal education for attorneys through programs and publications, helping educate the public about the American judicial system and their rights and responsibilities, and promoting lawyers' adherence to high ethical standards, a sense of public responsibility and working with each other in a cordial, fair and professional manner.
