New York Law Now Prohibits Post-Termination Non-Compete Covenants for "Broadcast Employees" |

On August 5, 2008, the Governor of New York signed into law the Broadcast Employees Freedom To Work Act ("new law"), to provide that certain non-compete agreements involving broadcast employees are void and unenforceable as against New York State public policy.
