Within the Business Law group several of our members concentrate in mergers and acquisitions. The firm maintains a large litigation practice with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation, unfair competition, employers' liability, insurance defense, and workers compensation (management). Members of the litigation group practice in the state courts of Illinois and Wisconsin, as well as all federal courts and routinely act as co-counsel with national law firms in complex disputes, including commercial litigation. From its core groups, WilliamsMcCarthy lawyers have developed expertise in a variety of areas of concentration which allows the Firm to meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of its clients.

State of the art technology and support systems allow us to meet our clients' needs on a timely cost-efficient fashion. We recruit highly capable personnel and require continuing professional education and development. We encourage our members to become active in the community and are pleased that our lawyers routinely serve in leadership positions of organizations that serve our region.

In addition to our principal office in Rockford, we also maintain a regional office in Oregon, Illinois to serve several adjacent counties southwest of Rockford.
